Communicative Competence The next video will be a discussion over the term Communicative competence, a differentiation between linguistic competence and communicative competence will be develop. Some examples about communicative competence will be presented, so it can help the understanding of the term, also an example of Jake Richards will be explained, besides of a short explanations of the five strands of communicative competence.  My conclusions were that I did not think about the importance of communicative competence before, being aware of how communicative competence helps to the development of the learner's language. Makes me want to focus more in this kind of approach to the students. Sometimes, as students speaking becomes a problem at the moment where we do not have where to practice it besides the class, even in the class results a problem, but as being forced to speak, students lose the fear try to express themelves in their second language.  

Evaluation Evaluation, is the rigorous analysis of completed or ongoing activities that determine or support management accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency. Evaluation has to see more with the correct development of the student, instead of grading the holistic evaluations help to the student to improve almost everything of himself. In the latest classes we have seen the difference between assessment and evaluation, one of the this that I got clear is that, evaluation is to know if it is value and assessment if it is formative, one of the differences is the interactive process with the student. Evaluation can be helpful if it is used in a correct way to know if students are learning what the must learn.

Communicative competence. Communicative competences. Communicative competence (CC) was defined by Dell Hymes in 1972. In his own words, it is competence for language use and not only “the tacit knowledge of language structure”. It is competence of language the appropriate use of the language in a communicative interaction to the given  social context and situation. Sometimes in the schools the focus in real situations it is not the main point, other situation could be that the errors are not corrected at the moment. Learning grammar and vocabulary is not enough, it is necessary to learn how to apply that grammar and that vocabulary in the real world, the development of the language in its own context would help us to handle real situations.The four communication competencies should be followed as will help to the learner to have an asap increase of his language skills.
